Job Description

PepsiCo South Africa is looking for a reliable operations associate to support the operations manager with the management of the day-to-day business. The operations associate’s responsibilities include performing administrative tasks, assisting other company departments as needed, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

A successful operations associate should be highly organized and have a versatile skill set to support a variety of different business functions with a diverse range of tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:

What you’ll do



  • Resolves identified data integrity issues as part of general day to day maintenance but also as part of core global HR processes
  • Work with HR Operations •Analyst to resolve/action employee queries/ requests as required
  • Support planned and ad-hoc global HR Operatios project activities – data loads and data cleansing as defined by Global HR Operations
  • Define, draft and submit changes required by the business and HR Operations Lead
  • Work to a set of performance targets and look to identify continuous improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis
  • Creating improvemet on current HR Operations processes by driving automation
  • Use technology and processes to support customer contact and track the resolution of each query/request
  • Ensure employees are notified when their query/request has been completed including interim notification where something is taking longer to resolve
  • Manages workflow ageing issues WE driving EC throughput efficiency
  • Drive up MSS and ESS adoption rates
  • Supporting the administration and reporting for the Learning and Development team
  • Systems management (L&D, SNOW, EC)
  • Quality assurance on all employee lifecycle transctional activities
  • Dealing with multiple teams across the SSA region

Desired Experience & Qualification

Required Knowledge and Experience

What you’ll need

  • Relevant HR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3 Years working experience in a FMCG environment or similar role
  • Attention to detail key to success in role
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Ability and knowledge for effectively interacting with Business Users, middle- and senior managers and other stakeholders
  • Ideally experience in a HR System (preferably employee central)
